Why I'm here is a long story, the important part is why did I look at Essential Oils? I'm gifted with a genetic "storm in a teacup" malfunction, this has resulted in high doses of prescription medication since 2003, bi-lateral hip replacements at 32 yrs and several other major surgeries following. I broke my spine in a motorway accident in 2010, 2012 I travelled to London to be under the care of the UK's leading specialist for; - Spine - Shoulder - Nerves I'd been under the care of Wrightington hospital (Leading experts in Hip replacements) since 2003. This makes for one hell of a hand ;)
Yet dealing with these challenges has helped me tremendously. Being open minded, following my car accident I did research into every form of help, the list would just be boring. Trust me when I say the doctors exhausted all the UK National Health Services options, they did everything in their power to help me and I'm eternally grateful. So I looked at other alternatives; - Chiropractor - Acupuncture - Physiotherapist - Aromatherapy - KORE Therapy - Yoga - Essential Oils - - - Readily available, over the counter products - - - Nothing like what you may have experienced with doTERRA Essential Oils Due to the rare nature of my genetic gift, the Hospital of Genetic Research in Manchester work closely with me to monitor & inform me of what they have discovered. I mention this because I'm one of two people in the UK on their records with this gift, this makes it extremely difficult for the doctors to predict and know which course of action to take. So the guinea pig became as intrigued as the researcher's, the past 5 years have been a constant flow of knowledge and information shared. I don't feel like a patient, a victim or just the result of "a sequence of unfortunate events". Over the counter Essential Oils had been a part of my control routine during 2014/15, I give every course of treatment twice the amount of recommended time to see an effect due to the lack of knowledge of my gift. They did help, but stayed in the medicine cabinet, like so many other remedies. I'm sure we can all go to a cupboard or draw for "If all else fails". When I was contacted by my friend regarding doTERRA Essential Oils I explained my previous experience but agreed to try them so I could help my friend with valued feedback. The doTERRA oils started working almost immediately, I now reach for my oils over my prescription medication. I've been concerned about what affects the medication could be having on the parts of my body, due to the length of time I've been taking them. Being able to confidently reach for a natural product gives me peace of mind, our bodies are better equipped to process products found in nature over synthetic alternatives. I'm no different from the rest of the world, I want to enjoy my life, be happy, contribute positively to my family and friends. In my personal opinion, there is only one better feeling than good health;
