This year is all designed to boost confidence and skills to industry standard, producing a final portfolio website to showcase projects and pieces of work in our chosen specialist field.
I plan to expand on the course design and utilise all resources & equipment available at TMC, to produce a portfolio exceeding the industry standard.
During our first semester we are to produce two pieces of work:

A structured research project - Project Management & a detailed look at Shotgun, a project management platform used by AAA studios across the world.

A minor project - Escape Camp Comfort: using Epic's Unreal 4 engine to produce an action adventure game about two friends who have to escape their island, a volcano erupts putting everything on the island in immediate danger.

During our second semester we are to produce a major project:
The aim is to simulate a studio environment, working in a team or teams to produce a complete project, be it a game or film. We have the opportunity to collaborate with the 2nd year students, pitching our project and offering job responsibilities in the form of modelling, texturing, concept, animation, etc.
